Theresa Lola

Theresa Lola is a British Nigerian poet. She was the 2019/2020 Young People’s Laureate for London, and has previously been commissioned by Tate, National Gallery, and Channel 4’s Random Acts. She has held poetry teaching residencies at secondary schools and places such as Wellcome Collection, Bethlem Museum of the Mind and St Paul’s Cathedral. She has read her work across the UK and internationally in Germany, Brazil and Singapore. Her 2019 debut poetry collection In Search of Equilibrium is published by Nine Arches Press‪.  ‪
