Michelle McMahon
Michelle is an Irish writer, actor and facilitator creating imaginative stories for audiences of all kinds. As well as large-scale stage shows and immersive experiences, she brings her storytelling work to schools, universities, museums, community groups and hospital wards. Among other work, she has collaborated with BAFTA award-winning theatre makers Coney, created original stories for Secret Cinema, explored the future of live performance with Punchdrunk, and written and mentored young writers at The Egg – the award-winning theatre for children and young people at Theatre Royal Bath. She’s committed to developing creativity and storytelling skills in children and young people. A writing facilitator with Ministry of Stories, she has written with many hundreds of children in schools, communities and on writing retreats in London. She also enjoys designing workshops with playful tools and techniques to help support teachers’ development and creativity, in and out of the classroom.
