Kerry Drewery is a Lincolnshire based author who writes for young adults. She’s had five books published – A Brighter Fear, A Dream of Lights, and the Cell 7 trilogy. Her work has been shortlisted for the Leeds Book Awards, awarded ‘Highly Commended’ at the North East Teen Book Awards and nominated for the CILIP Carnegie Medal. She was also a finalist in a BBC script-writing competition.

She’s an experienced workshop provider, working in schools throughout Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and in Hull and has worked for Writing East Midlands. She also co-organises the UKYACX events with fellow First Story writer, Emma Pass.
