Ella Frears

Ella Frears is a poet based in London. She has been shortlisted for The T. S. Eliot Prize, a Sky Arts Award, and The Forward Prize twice. Ella was a Royal Literary Fund Fellow at the Courtauld Institute of Art, and has held residencies and fellowships for the Tate Gallery, the National Trust, Royal Holloway University physics department, the Dartington Trust’s grade II listed gardens, 16 motorway service stations, and the number 17 bus in Southampton. Her books Shine, Darling, and Goodlord are out with Corsair and her poetry card game The Poetry Fruit Machine is out with Rough Trade Books. She hosts chat and music show Tears for Frears on Soho Radio.
