SUMMER RESIDENTIAL PARTICIPANT 2023/24
In shadows deep, the artist toiled,
Brush in hand, mind uncoiled.
Colours swirled, a tempest’s cry,
Madness whispered, ‘let us fly.’
Lost in strokes, his world unfurled,
Reality’s grip began to swirl.
In each hue, a fractured dream,
Sanity’s thread torn at the seam.
Yet in his eyes, a fervent flame,
A beauty found in all that’s strange.
Insanity’s grasp, a double-edged art,
Breaking the mind yet freeing the heart.
