We are so incredibly proud to announce that two of our First Story students are among the three finalists in the 2014 John Betjeman Poetry Competition for Young People! The competition, open to children aged 10-13, seeks to foster a love of poetry in young people and this year, participants were invited to explore the sense of ‘space’.
Jasmine Burgess and Helen Woods are two talented students who attended the creative-writing workshops led by poet Kate Clanchy at Oxford Spires Academy in 2013-2014.
