First Story is London Book Fair’s Charity of the Year

25 February 2016 //  by First Story

We are so pleased to announce that First Story has been chosen as London Book Fair’s Charity of the year. We’re really looking forward to being part of one of the most exciting events in the literary calendar. Do come and join us for a day of books, reading and writing – we’ll have a First Story stand full of anthologies, pencils, postcards and notebooks as well as writing challenges and competitions.

First Story undertakes truly inspirational work, and we are delighted that it will be our Charity of the Year in 2016, when we celebrate our 45th anniversary. Providing a link between young people from all backgrounds and the broader literary community, it plays an important role in encouraging our writers and readers of the future to engage with literature, which can only be a force for good in the larger publishing ecosystem. I hope all our exhibitors and visitors will have time to visit them on their stand.

Jacks Thomas, Director at The London Book Fair
