In 2026, we host two exciting festivals for schools across the country.

Young Writers Festival North, in partnership with Lowry, Salford on Monday 2nd March

Young Writers Festival Cambridge, in partnership with the University of Cambridge on Tuesday 21st April.

Schools are invited to register for up to 40 student places for one or both Festivals (note you need to complete one form per Festival). Tickets cost £12 per student with free accompanying staff places.

Full programme details are to be confirmed, but approximate running time is from 10am – 4.30pm. School staff will need to accompany young writers on the day and arrange transport to and from the venue. Places are limited and will be offered on a first come, first served basis. Our Young Writers Festivals are always popular, and we are keen to ensure as many schools as possible are able to attend.
