Join us for North West Connect at Manchester Metropolitan University as part of Manchester City of Literature’s Festival of Libraries 2026. Our annual event brings together current Young Writers Programme participants from schools across the North West and Yorkshire for a day of workshops, talks and creativity.
This event encourages participants to connect with each other as a community of young writers, as well as strengthen their knowledge of creative careers and pathways.
The event is free to attend for First Story partner schools and £10 per student for non-partner schools. All schools will need to cover transport costs and bring their own packed lunches.
